Srinagar, May 02 (JKNS): A 26-year-old youth from Pampore succumbed to injuries following a road accident near the Chursoo Toll Plaza in Awantipora on Friday.
Officials told news agency JKNS the injured person, identified as Farhad Fayaz, a resident of Chandhara Pampore.
He was initially evacuated to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment, however he succumbed to his injuries shortly after admission, official said.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further proceedings were underway (JKNS)
