“We called this meeting to discuss the upcoming projects and schemes for the year 2025–26. We expect improvements in infrastructure in the near future,” the MLA Sopore said during the meeting.
“Unfortunately, investment in infrastructure has not been up to the mark so far. However, we are seeing growing public interest in these schemes, which is encouraging.”

Officials discussed the department’s preparedness for implementing new schemes and highlighted the gradual response from beneficiaries in rural areas.

The MLA also urged the department to take proactive measures in promoting animal husbandry initiatives across Sopore. (JKNS)
