Over 80% Students Pass JKBOSE Class 10 Exams

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday declared Class 10 annual regular results, recording an overall pass percentage of 79.94%.

Out of 1,45,671 students, 1,16,453 qualified the exams. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 81.24%, compared to 78.74% for boys, as per details available with news agency JKNS.

At least 16,343 students secured A1 grade, while 49 students were placed in Grade-D. The Board also took action against unfair means in several cases.

The results were declared as per the directive of Education Minister Sakina Itoo to announce Class 10 and 12 results by April 30. (JKNS)
