DC Kupwara finalizes arrangements for conduct of NEET Exam

Kupwara: To finalize the arrangements for smooth conduct of NEET-2025 scheduled to be held on 4th May-2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Monday convened a meeting of concerned officers at D.C Office, here.
On the occasion, DC took a detailed feedback from the concerned officers regarding various arrangements put in place by the District Administration for conduct of the NEET examination in the district.
The arrangements discussed involved security measures, availability of transport, electricity, ambulances, fire tenders and other facilities for the aspirants. She also directed the concerned to ensure availability of adequate number of wheelchairs at the designated centres to facilitate the physically challenged candidates appearing in the test.
DC enjoined the officers to work in tandem to ensure a conducive and secure environment for the aspirants for transparent and smooth conduct of the examination in the district. She impressed upon them to ensure that all the guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are strictly followed for proper conduct of the test.
The meeting was attended by ACR Kupwara, Principals of GDCs, CEO, CMO, Executive Engineers of KPDCL Kupwara/Handwara; Dy. SPs of Kupwara/Handwara; ARTO, NEET Coordinator, Centre Superintendents, besides, officers from Traffic, Fire & Emergency and other concerned stakeholders were also present in the meeting.
