Priority will be given to hungry routes to ensure better transport connectivity to far-flung and underserved areas. Selected candidates will be issued Letters of Authority for stage carriage operation, with strict action against any contract carriage misuse.

Officials said the STA reserves the right to modify terms or reject applications without assigning reasons. Only vehicles approved under Rule 274-A of the J&K MVR, 1991, will be permitted under this scheme. (JKNS)
