Two-way traffic to resume on Bandipora-Gurez road from April 29

Bandipora, Apr 28 (JKNS): In view of improved weather conditions, traffic movement on the Bandipora-Gurez road will be allowed from both sides Bandipora and Gurez starting April 29, 2025.

An official told news agency JKNS that traffic movement on the Bandipora-Gurez road will be allowed from both sides Bandipora and Gurez starting April 29.

The traffic will commence at 7:30 AM, with a cut-off time set at 4:30 PM. Drivers have been advised to carry anti-skid chains as a safety measure, they said.

No heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) will be permitted on the route, they added.

Authorities urged commuters to strictly follow the timings and necessary guidelines for their own safety. (JKNS)
