Kupwara, April 27 (JKNS): A 45-year-old man who was shot by an unknown gunman at his residence in Kandi Khass area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
A top police official told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Gh Rasool Magray, a resident of Kandi Khass. After sustaining critical injuries in the firing incident, he was rushed to GMC Handwara for treatment, where he passed away.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances and identity of the assailant. Further details are awaited. (JKNS)
