Jammu, Apr 26 (JKNS): Pakistan Army posts opened unprovoked fire across multiple locations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir during the intervening night of April 25 and 26, officials said on Saturday.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that, the Indian troops responded with appropriate small arms fire to silence the provocation.

The exchange remained limited, and no casualties were reported on the Indian side, they added.

Such acts, officials said, are viewed as attempts to disrupt peace along the border. The situation is being closely monitored by Indian forces across all forward areas. (JKNS)
