Jammu : Deputy Commissioner Sachin Kumar Vaishya on Friday conducted a review of the education being provided to 83 rehabilitated street children currently enrolled at a Government school in the District.
During the visit, he engaged with the school staff, discussing the children’s progress and identifying additional requirements for their holistic development.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasised the importance of giving special attention to children with particular needs, ensuring that no child is left behind in the educational process. He directed the school administration to focus on catering to the individual needs of these children, providing them with the necessary support to bridge any learning gaps.
Following this review, Deputy Commissioner Vaishya also conducted a surprise inspection of Government Middle School Channi Himmat. During the visit, he assessed the overall functioning of the school, including staff attendance, the school’s operations and student performance. The objective was to ensure that the educational standards are consistently upheld across all schools within the district.
Additional District Development Commissioner Sher Singh; SDM Jammu South, Manu Hansa and Chief Education Officer BD Sharma were also present during the visit and inspection.
