A team from PS Rajouri, accompanied by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), swiftly reached the location and safely defused the shell, preventing any untoward incident.

It is reliably learnt that the area was once used as a firing range by the Army, suggesting that the shell may be a remnant from past exercises. (JKNS)
