Amarnath Yatra: DC B’pora conducts spot review of arrangements at Shadipora Transit Camp

Bandipora: In view of the upcoming Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2025, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri Tuesday visited Shadipora Transit Camp to take first-hand assessment of the infrastructure, facilities and services being developed for the convenience of the Yatris.
During the visit, DC reviewed the pace and quality of ongoing works and finalizing arrangements at the transit camp for pilgrims heading towards the holy cave via Baltal route.
Qadri emphasized the timely completion of all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth and safe experience for the pilgrims, and directed the concerned departments to work in close coordination and maintain high standards of facilities at the transit camp.
DC directed the departments to work in synergy to ensure that the infrastructure and services are in place well ahead of the Yatra commencement.
The DC was accompanied by Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Executive Engineer R&B and other senior officers from concerned departments.
