Srinagar, April 22 (JKNS): The death toll in the Pahalgam terror attack is likely to increase, though the exact number of casualties is still being verified, sources told news agency JKNS.
Meanwhile, sources said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the attack.
The Prime Minister has directed the Home Minister to take all suitable measures in response to the incident.
PM Modi has also asked Amit Shah to visit the site of the attack to personally assess the situation and oversee the security and relief measures being undertaken.
