Srinagar, Apr 21 (JKNS): A lineman of the Power Development Department (PDD) died on Monday after falling from an electric pole while on duty in the Hawal area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
An official told news agency JKNS that the deceased, identified as Ghulam Ali Wagay, was posted in the Hawal Sub Division. He fell from the pole during maintenance work and died on the spot due to critical injuries.
Cognizance of the incident ha been taken and further investigation underway. (JKNS)
