Udhampur: In a shocking incident, Udhampur Police on Sunday recovered the body of a 23-year-old youth under suspicious circumstances from a private hotel near the bus stand in Ghordi town.
An official told news agency JKNS that the body was found inside a room of the hotel, raising suspicions about the circumstances surrounding his death.
The deceased has been identified as Keval Kumar, son of Ram Prakash, a resident of Nala Ghoda, official said.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and initiated further investigation to ascertain the cause of death. The body has been sent for medico-legal formalities. (JKNS)
