MLA Kupwara reviews developmental scenario of Kupwara town

Kupwara : Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kupwara, Mir Mohammad Fayaz on Friday chaired a meeting of concerned officers and stakeholders here at D.C Office Kupwara to review the developmental scenario of Kupwara town.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan was also present in the meeting.
On the occasion, MLA emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to improve public infrastructure, sanitation, road connectivity, and overall urban services in the town. He reviewed the status of key projects including road macadamization, drainage improvement, solid waste management, street lighting, and ongoing works under the District Capex Budget.
Stressing on the need for accountability and transparency, MLA directed concerned departments to strictly adhere to timelines and maintain quality standards in all works. He also called for expediting the completion of pending projects and initiating new development works in response to public demands.
During the meeting, Mir Fayaz took note of several public grievances related to basic amenities and directed officials to ensure swift redressal. He assured that the government remains committed to the holistic development of Kupwara town and urged officials to work with dedication and a people-first approach.
Deputy Commissioner also spoke and emphasized the importance of coordination among various departments for achieving better results on the ground.
The meeting was attended by CPO Kupwara, Executive Officer MC Kupwara, officers from R&B and representatives from traders and other associations.
