Reasi: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi Nidhi Malik convened a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) across the district. The DDC conducted a detailed review of the department-wise progress in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and other allied sectors.
The DDC emphasized the importance of farmers leveraging the learning resources available on the Daksh Portal.She directed concerned officers to ensure maximum outreach so that farmers can benefit from instructional videos in Daksh Portal aimed at improving farming practices and productivity.
The DDC highlighted the need for better synergy and enhanced coordination between banking institutions and agriculture departments. She instructed bank officials to share updated lists of beneficiaries with relevant department heads to facilitate timely follow-ups and sanctioning of eligible cases.
To boost engagement under HADP, DDC Ms Malik underlined the necessity for intensified outreach efforts. She approved the currently submitted applications on the HADP portal and instructed officials to maintain continuous field visits to promote awareness, encourage new registrations, and ensure seamless implementation at the grassroots level. Particular focus was laid on increasing registrations of farmers and farms under the Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs).
Further, the DDC stressed the importance of documenting success stories of farmers who have benefited from HADP, encouraging departments to present these as model case studies to inspire wider participation.
The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar,CAO, CAHO,DSHO,LDM, Cluster head and other concerned officials.
