DC Kupwara reviews arrangements for conduct of NEET Exam

Kupwara: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, on Friday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements for the smooth and fair conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 in the district which is scheduled to be held on 4th May.
On the occasion, DC took a detailed briefing on various logistical and security measures being put in place at all designated NEET examination centers across the district.
She emphasized the importance of maintaining a conducive and secure environment for the aspirants and directed officers to ensure all the guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are followed in letter and spirit.
She impressed upon the officers to ensure fool proof arrangements in place well before the starting of the examination to ensure fair and transparent conduct of the examination.
DC directed the officers to hold a dry run at least one week before the date of examination to sort out any issues well in time.
It was given out in the meeting that a Control Room at district level will be established for better and timely coordination among the officers. The Control Room shall also monitor the whole examination process through CCTV surveillance.
The meeting was attended by ACR Kupwara, CEO, ASP Kupwara, Dy. SP Handwara, NEET Coordinator, Centre Superintendents and other concerned stakeholders.
