Jammu: Police have arrested seven persons from Punjab for assaulting a man in Rajbagh area of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that a Dhaba owner had heated argument on Wednesday night with a customer in Kathua.\\”A group of men from Punjab this morning reached the house of a man, who exchanged heated words with Dhaba owner, in Rajbagh with a motive to attack him but he raised an alarm,\\” said police.
The villagers in anger, attacked the group and also damaged their vehicles.
The police team led by the Station House Officer, Rajbagh immediately swung into action.\\”So far seven persons have been taken into the custody while a case under relevant sections is registered and investigation is taken up,\\” said police.
