Five injured in Rajouri road accident

Rajouri, April 15 (JKNS):- At least five persons were injured in a road accident in Rajouri district of Jammu division on Tuesday.

An official told news agency JKNS that three people got injured in a road accident that took place on Tuesday morning after a passenger bus plunged from Jammu Rajouri Poonch National Highway at Katarmal near Gambhir Brahmana in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the injured were shifted to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri where they are under treatment.

Injured were identified as Sunika Kumar resident of Ghambir Brahmana, Mohd Younis son of Mohd Ismail resident of Katarmal, Shazia Kosser daughter of Mohd Bashir resident of Katarmal, Irfan Ahmad and Mohammad Irfan.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.—(JKNS)
