Srinagar: Former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, on Friday expressed his heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Wazira Begum, wife of M N Khan, senior retired bureaucrat of Magarmal Bagh Srinagar & grandmother of Maroof Khan.
In his condolence message, Azad described the late Wazira Begum as a humble, pious, and compassionate woman who was always helpful towards the needy. “Her contribution to society, especially through her kindness and support to the underprivileged, will always be remembered,” Azad said.
Chief spokesperson of DPAP, Salman Nizami, also expressed his grief and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family in this hour of grief.
