Jammu: The District Election office Jammu on Wednesday commenced a door-to-door campaign in 77-Nagrota Assembly Constituency to distribute Form 6, 7 and 8 under the ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR) 2025.
The exercise is being conducted by Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and aims at facilitating the inclusion of eligible voters and correction of electoral details across the constituency. BLOs are reaching out to households to distribute and assist citizens with Form 6 (for new voter registration), Form 7 (for deletion of names) and Form 8 (for corrections and shifting of voter entries).
The campaign will continue in the coming days to ensure maximum voter enrollment and accuracy in the electoral rolls, ahead of the April 24 deadline for submission of claims and objections.
The District Election Office has appealed to all eligible citizens, especially new voters turning 18 by April 1, 2025, to take advantage of this drive and ensure their names are correctly entered in the electoral roll.
