Kulgam: In a continued effort to combat the growing menace of drug abuse, the District Administration Kulgam has intensified its awareness campaign under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan.
In this connection, a series of awareness camps are being conducted daily across the district at educational institutions, workplaces, Panchayats, Municipalities, and other community spaces.
These camps aim to educate the youth, engage parents, and sensitize the general public about the physical, psychological, and social consequences of drug abuse. Special emphasis is being laid on early intervention, community participation.
During the sessions, speakers stressed the importance of collective responsibility and community engagement in addressing this pressing issue. They called for united efforts to eliminate the scourge of drug abuse from society.
To further strengthen the campaign, the District Administration is distributing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) material such as pamphlets, booklets and posters among participants to enhance public awareness and reinforce key messages.
