Ganderbal: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) here in the V.C. Room of the DC office to discuss and approve cases received under Holistic Agriculture Development Plan (HADP).
The committee approved 1471 cases of various sectors, including agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, and allied fields. Among these, 134 cases have been linked with credit.
DDC emphasized that the HADP is a major step towards creating a sustainable and profitable agricultural ecosystem and urged all officers to intensify efforts to reach out to farmers, ensuring maximum participation in HADP initiatives and utilizing available resources to their full potential.
He also reviewed the registration of farmers on Daksh Kisan Portal, KKG and Kisan Sathi portal, and impressed officers to augment registration of farmers.
Furthermore, streamlining Credit Linkage schemes implementation was also emphasized so that a commitment to optimizing its advantages for sustainable agricultural growth is achieved.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, GM, DIC; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Agriculture Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries and other committee members.
