Ganderbal: Senior BJP leader Mohammad Amin Shah has raised serious concerns over the hardships faced by students of the Central University of Kashmir Ganderbal due to the lack of hostel facilities and incomplete academic infrastructure.

Shah, during his visit to the university’s campus Tulmulla, emphasized the urgent need for the administration,LG administration and concerned authorities to provide hostel accommodations to students, many of whom are struggling to find and afford rented rooms in nearby localities. He said the situation not only affects the academic focus of students but also places financial and logistical stress on them and their families.

“The students of Central University Kashmir deserve basic amenities, especially hostels, to ensure a conducive academic environment. It is disheartening to see them battling for shelter while they are here to build their future,” Shah said in a statement.

He also demanded the acceleration of construction work on the university’s academic blocks at Tulmulla, noting that delays are impacting the timely conduct of classes and academic sessions. Shah called upon both the central and UT governments to intervene and ensure that the remaining infrastructure projects are completed without further delay.

The BJP leader assured students and faculty of his continued support and vowed to take up the matter with higher authorities to ensure swift action.
