Satish Sharma inaugurates new sports facilities at KCPS, KCSC

Jammu: Minister for FCS &CA, Transport, Youth Services and Sports, Information Technology, Science and Technology, ARI and Trainings, Satish Sharma, on Monday inaugurated four new Pickleball courts at KC Public School and one outdoor Box Cricket arena at KC Sports Club.
While speaking on the occasion, the Minister applauded the efforts of KC Public School and KC Sports Club in bringing two more ultra-modern game facilities in Jammu.
He said that the sports complexes of KC Public School and KC Sports Club already have a complete range of world class indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities that include Cricket, Football, Basketball, Net Ball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash and swimming. Besides, it has added two more games which have gained incredible popularity in the entire world in terms of space requirements and the paucity of it in large metropoles, cities and towns all over the world.
The Minister tried his hand at both these new games after inaugurating these facilities. He congratulated the KC Public School for creating and maintaining sports facilities of international standards and thereby offering the youths of Jammu and Kashmir the opportunities to excel in sports of their choice.
The inauguration ceremonies at both these venues were witnessed by a large gathering of distinguished dignitaries like Chairman KC Public School Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director KCPS Arti Chowdhary, Managing Partner KC Sports Club Arjun Chowdhary, Principal KCPS AK Mishra, Former IAS Anil Goswami besides hundreds of sports enthusiasts and students and staff of both KC Public School and KC Sports Club including students and staff of Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, who are in Jammu on a cultural exchange visit to KC Public School.
