J&K High Court Directs Additional District Judge to Hold Weekly Court in Sumbal

Srinagar: In a significant move to enhance access to justice, the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered the Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora, to hold court at Sumbal Headquarters three days a week.

A official notification as per agency JKNS, readscourt proceedings will now take place every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at a designated premises in Sumbal, which will be identified by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora.

The new arrangement is expected to ease the burden on the main court in Bandipora and improve overall judicial efficiency in the region. (JKNS)
