Srinagar: A BSF personnel died after he fell unconscious in Pantha chowk area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday.
An official told news agency JKNS that BSF Jawan Biplab Singh resident of West Bengal suddenly got unconscious at Pantha Chowk.
He was shifted to Ujala hospital Srinagar for treatment, where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
After completion of medico legal formalities, the dead body was handed over to the concerned unit for further disposal, he said.
Meanwhile investigation has been taken up, he added.—(JKNS)
