DDC B’la chairs Distt Level Committee meeting, approves 1,280 cases across key sectors

Baramulla: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, on Wednesday chaired a District Level Committee meeting, and approved 1,280 cases under various beneficiary-oriented schemes in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Sheep Husbandry, Fisheries, Sericulture, and Horticulture (Planning & Marketing).
With this latest approval, the total number of sanctioned cases in the district has reached 30,205. Reviewing the progress, the DC noted that 95% financial progress has been achieved, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to ensuring timely disbursement of benefits.
DDC also reviewed the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), and directed the concerned departments to accelerate efforts to maximize outreach and impact.
During the meeting concerned officers provided updates on sectoral progress and discussed strategies for effective implementation of government schemes aimed at strengthening rural livelihoods and the local economy.
Meeting was attended by Dean SKUAST- Wadoora, Joint Director Planning Baramulla and Assistant Commissioner Development besides various other concerned officers.
