Chairperson DDC B’la distributes relief among fire affected families, appeals for further support

Baramulla: Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Baramulla, Safina Baig, on Wednesday visited Old Town Baramulla to provide aid to families affected by the recent fire in Mohalla Jalal Sahib.
During her visit, Safina Baig personally distributed two months ration kits, blankets and clothes to 31 fire victim families, contributing from her own resources.
She expressed her concern for the affected families, and urged all stakeholders to come forward and help these families rebuild their lives.
She further appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, to provide support for the rehabilitation of these families, so they can recover from this devastating loss.
Today’s visit marks the second visit by Safina Baig to Old Town Baramulla following the fire, underscoring her continued commitment to assisting the affected community.
