Teenager Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle in Sempora, Srinagar

Srinagar: A 16-year-old boy lost his life after being struck by a vehicle in the Sempora area of Srinagar late Saturday night.

An official told news agency JKNS that the teenager, a scooty rider, a resident of Zaffron Colony, Pantha Chowk, sustained critical injuries when a speeding vehicle hit him at Sempora.

Despite being rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment, the boy succumbed to his injuries, the official said.

He was identified as Faizan Ahmad Nanda, son of Mohd Rafiq Nanda, of Zafran Colony, Srinagar.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken, and further legal proceedings are underway. (JKNS)
