Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Saturday reviewed the arrangements for Eid ul fitr celebrations in the district to ensure a smooth and safe observance of the religious occasion.
As part of the review, the DC visited the Eidgah Bandipora to inspect the preparations and oversee necessary arrangements for the Eid prayers.
During the visit, Qadri emphasized the safety and security of attendees, maintaining cleanliness in and around the Eidgah, and providing necessary facilities for the public.
The officers accompanying DC briefed him regarding the measures in place to facilitate a seamless experience for the public.
The DC emphasized the importance of coordination between various departments, including law enforcement, health services, and other concerned to ensure that all aspects of the Eid celebrations are conducted peacefully and smoothly.
He said the District Administration has put in place all necessary arrangements including traffic management and emergency medical services, to ensure the safety and well-being of all citizens.
On the occasion, the DC also interacted with locals and representatives of the local auqaf committee seeking their cooperation in maintaining peace and order during the festive period. He urged the public to follow the guidelines issued by the authorities for a safe, peaceful and smooth Eid celebration.
During the visit, DC was accompanied by CPO, Tehsildar Bandipora, EO MC and other concerned.
