Srinagar: Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakshan Andrabi on Saturday said that all arrangements have been finalised and are in place to ensure smooth conduct of Eid prayers across Kashmir, with the largest congregation expected at Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar.

Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, while speaking to media persons in Srinagar as per news agency JKNS said that as Eid approaches, all necessary preparations have been put in place throughout the valley. She assured that measures have been taken to facilitate devotees at all major shrines and mosques.

Dr. Andrabi stated that shrines and mosques will witness a massive turnout, and Waqf employees are working tirelessly to ensure all arrangements are in place. “We hope everything goes well as far as weather is concerned,” she added.

When asked about Eid prayers at the historic Eidgah, she said, “As far as arrangements are concerned, we are ready, but the decision to allow Eid prayers there rests with the administration.” (JKNS)
