Srinagar: The Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir (CCIK) has expressed deep concern over the lack of proper traffic management in Srinagar City on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, causing inconvenience to the public and losses to the business community.

According to CCIK, severe traffic congestion was witnessed in both downtown and other commercial areas, with the Srinagar Traffic Police failing to regulate the flow effectively. In many areas, personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police had to step in to manage traffic, despite this being the primary responsibility of the Traffic Police.
