Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and other top leaders across the country greeted the people of Bihar on Bihar Diwas being celebrated on Saturday.

PM Modi in his message posted on his social media account said that Bihar had been land of brave heroes and great personalities. Bihar was passing through a phase of development and he would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the state could move on the fast track of development and prosperity, he added and excluded his confidence that Bihar would regain its past glory.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also greeted the people of Bihar and exhorted them to work hard for the development of the state. For its past glory and rich cultural heritage, Bihar had a special place on the world map, he noted.

” Bihar is moving on the path of development with justice to all. For several welfare schemes launched by his government, the state is getting appreciation from all corners of the world “, Kumar said adding that his vision was to build such a Bihar being at the forefront of all development parameters. He called upon the people of the state to play their vital roles in the development and prosperity of Bihar.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Union Health Minister J P Nadda, and other top leaders across the country also extended their greetings to the people of Bihar on the occasion.
