Kathua, Mar 23 (JKNS): An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the Sanyal area of Hiranagar in Jammu region on Sunday evening.

An offical told news agency JKNS that security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area after receiving specific input about the presence of terrorists.
