Yoga Session Conducted at Govt. High School Reshnagri, Shopian

Shopian: In line with the vision of promoting holistic health and well-being, a Yoga session was organized today at Government High School Reshnagri, Shopian as per the directions of Director AYUSH J&K, Dr. Nuzhat Bashir, and under the guidance of DNO AYUSH Shopian, Dr. Javid Ahmad Wani.

The session was held under the supervision of Medical Officer AHWC Reshnagri, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, and was led by Yoga Instructor Waseem Gulzar.

During the session, Yoga Instructor Waseem Gulzar explained how Yoga serves as a natural remedy for various physical and mental health issues.

He emphasized that regular practice of Yoga strengthens body muscles, improves posture, reduces stress, and enhances lung flexibility, making it an effective tool for overall well-being.

He further highlighted that Yoga boosts blood circulation, improves digestion, enhances respiratory function, and helps in maintaining a calm and focused mind.

The students and faculty actively participated in the session, experiencing firsthand the benefits of different Yoga postures and breathing techniques.

The initiative aimed to instill a habit of practicing Yoga daily, ensuring better health and wellness for all participants.
