GANDERBAL, MARCH 19: As part of the calendar of activities, Secretary District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ganderbal conducted a review meeting with functionaries and Adhikaar Mitras (PLVs) of DLSA Ganderbal, TLSC Ganderbal, and TLSC Kangan.
The meeting aimed to assess the implementation of current legal services programs in District Ganderbal.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Abdul Nasir, Chairman (DLSA), Ganderbal and under the guidance of Secretary (DLSA), Ganderbal.
Secretary DLSA Ganderbal has been actively assessing the implementation of current legal services programs in the district.
The Secretary DLSA, Ganderbal, pinpointed the obstacles hindering the effective delivery of legal aid services in District Ganderbal.
He optimized the legal aid process to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and collected insights from stakeholders and identify best practices to enhance legal aid services, ultimately generating maximum public awareness and promoting inclusive access to justice for all.
Secretary DLSA emphasized the importance of ensuring legal assistance to the general public, particularly marginalized sections of society.
The Secretary stressed Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) to conduct door-to-door campaigns to achieve this goal and to work on ground for the betterment of society and fruits of welfare schemes of the government must reach to the targeted persons living far-flung and most backward areas of the District.
Officials, PLVs of DLSA Ganderbal and TLSC Ganderbal/Kangan attended the meeting.
