Srinagar,: The government has clarified that the distribution of assets between Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh post-2019 did not result in any unfair deal for J&K.
In a written reply to a question in the Assembly, tabled by MLA Tanveer Sadiq, as per news agency JKNS, the government said the apportionment and distribution of assets of the erstwhile State of J&K were done on the basis of recommendations made by an Advisory Committee.
The committee was constituted under Section 85 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019, through Government Order No. 1011-GAD of 2019 dated 12.09.2019, the reply stated. (JKNS)
