Srinagar: Prominent leader and former Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Mansoor Hussain Suharwardy and Member Legislative Council (MLC) Yasir Reshi joined the Mehbooba Mufti Led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) here on Sunday.
Suharwardy, a former MLA Shangus in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district and MLC Resi of Sumbal Sonawari of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district re-joined the PDP in the presence of the Party President and several senior leaders in an impressive function at the Party headquarters here.
“In a significant development former MLA Suharwardy and MLC Reshi who had earlier left returned to the PDP on Sunday in the presence of Mehbooba Mufti at party headquarters in Srinagar”, PDP posted on X.
“The joining of the two leaders will further strengthen the PDP”, it said.
