The NSS wing of The University of Kashmir will organise the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 on March 19–20 March as part of a joint initiative between the University of Kashmir, Hazratbal Srinagar, and the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of India. This event aims to provide a dynamic platform for young minds to engage in thought-provoking discussions on key national issues, fostering leadership and policy awareness among the youth.

The NSS University of Kashmir will host the event for participants from Srinagar, Budgam, and Ganderbal districts. Young individuals aged 18 to 25 years (as of February 24, 2025) residing across the Kashmir division are invited to participate in this prestigious programme. Students and members of civil society are encouraged to apply.

The district-level competition will be held at the University of Kashmir, Hazratbal Srinagar, under the guidance of the Honourable Vice-Chancellor and Registrar, University of Kashmir. The state-level round will take place in the Legislative Assembly.
