Paddar: In a significant event held here on Monday under the leadership of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dr. Amit Kumar, Agricultural equipment and seeds were distributed among local farmers here as part of the input subsidy under the Holistic Agricultural Development Program (HADP).
The initiative targets the organic clusters of Karthie and Garh, aiming at improving agricultural practices and sustainability in the region.
The SDM stressed the importance of diversifying farmers’ income by encouraging the adoption of a range of agricultural practices.
He underscored that a sustainable approach is crucial for the growth of the agriculture sector, urging the agriculture department to focus on enhancing production while ensuring the long-term viability of farming in the region.
SDM Padder also directed the agriculture department to organize training camps and on-field sessions for farmers.
These initiatives will provide essential knowledge, encourage the adoption of government schemes, and empower farmers with the tools they need to succeed.
Highlighting the collaborative efforts across departments, SDM Padder emphasized that such coordinated actions are critical not only to increasing agricultural production but also to ensuring that government support reaches every farmer in the region.
