DIG CKR Leads Insightful Awareness Session on New Criminal Laws in Chatabal, Srinagar

Srinagar: An impactful awareness session on the newly introduced criminal laws was chaired by DIG CKR Rajiv Pandeyat Marriage Hall, Nallabandpora, Chatabal here on Saturday drawing a significant turnout of locals, including members of the Coordination Committee, Intizamia Committee, students and government employees.
During the session, DIG CKR addressed local concerns raised by attendees, resolving several issues on the spot, while providing a comprehensive overview of how the new criminal laws are designed to meet modern challenges effectively. He emphasized the laws focus on enhancing public welfare and safety applauding the enthusiastic participation of the community as a testament to their trust in the police force. DIG CKR reiterated the unwavering dedication of J&K Police to safeguarding the region and strengthening ties with the public.
Accompanying the DIG were SP North Showkat Ahmad Dar, SDPO MR GunjJunaidWali, and other senior officers, who supplemented the session with detailed presentations on the new criminal laws. Their insights highlighted the progressive features of the legislation, aimed at ensuring justice that is both accessible and equitable for all.
