Two Wushu players trained by Vishwamitra Awardee and Indian Wushu Team coach Sarika Gupta won two silver medals representing the Indian Wushu Team in the Acropolis International Competition, Greece. Both the players are medal winners of the National Wushu Competition
1/ Priyanka Kewat 48 KG Silver Medal
2/ Durgeshvar Singh 85 KG Silver Medal.
According to the information given by Sarika Gupta, Priyanka Kewat was also a part of the Indian Wushu Team for the Moscow Wushu Star Competition last year and Durgeshvar Singh is currently working in BSF. Both the players have been training under Indian Wushu Team coach Sarika Gupta. Players from around 30 countries participated in the international competition. IPS NK Tripathi, Sarika Gupta, Rajneesh Saxena, BJP Cell President Ashutosh Mishra, Maya Rajak, Nitesh Barman, Vikas Chaturvedi, Anasharan etc. have congratulated the players on this achievement.
