PMGSY IV Connectivity Plans for unconnected habitations approved in B’pora

Bandipora: In order to discuss and approve a new connectivity priority list for PMGSY IV, a comprehensive meeting was held on Tuesday at the mini secretariat Bandipora.
The meeting presided by Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Bandipora, Ab Gani Bhat, was attended by Vice Chairperson DDC, Kousar Shafeeq; Deputy Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri; DDC Members, Chief Planning Officer and other concerned.
MLA Bandipora, Nizam u din Bhat, MLA Gurez Nazir Ahmad Khan, and MLA Sonawari Hilal Akbar Lone attended the meeting in virtual mode.
The meeting, aimed to review and approve the new list of connectivity priorities aimed at covering unconnected habitations under PMGSY IV discussed threadbare proposals of new connectivity priority list to enhance rural connectivity and improve the living standards of people in remote areas of Bandipora.
Executive Engineer PMGSY Bandipora informed that 37 habitations have been identified for coverage under PMGSY IV.
During the meeting Chairman DDC, MLAs and DDC members presented various proposals regarding the unconnected habitations in their concerned areas, stressing the importance of connecting the most remote habitations ensuring inclusive growth that will contribute to the upliftment of these areas.
