Kulgam : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan on Tuesday conducted an extensive tour to assess the progress of various developmental projects in the district.
During the visit, DC inspected the construction of the Chowgam Migrant Colony, PHC building at Devsar, and other key projects. He reviewed the ongoing work and directed the concerned officers to expedite construction to ensure timely completion.
It was informed that the Transit Accommodation at Chowgam consists of 12 blocks with 192 flats, out of which four blocks have been completed.
The project will come up at an approved cost of Rs. 22.88 crore.
During the tour, DC also visited NTPHC Chowgam to assess its functioning and ensure efficient healthcare service delivery.
Accompanying the DC during the visit were Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viqar Ahmad Giri; Executive Engineer R&B and other officers.
