DC B’gam reviews progress on upgradation, renovation works of Behisht-e-Zehra Park

Budgam : The Deputy Commissioner(DC) Budgam Akshay Labroo on Tuesday took stock of beautification, renovation and redevelopment works being executed on the Behisht-e-Zehra park Budgam.
During the visit, the DC reviewed progress of infrastructure upgradation including walkway reconstruction using paver blocks & interlock tiles; seating platforms with tea & coffee resting blocks finished with granite; installation of decorative metal lights outside park, structural steel railings for walkway sides and other developmental works aimed at enhancing the aesthetic and public utility of park.
On the occasion, DC directed R&B department Budgam to ensure that the work is executed as per specification, and instructed the site engineers to monitor the works properly to bring out quality results.
DC while expressing pleasure regarding the ongoing works at the park stated that the work on enhancing, renovating, and beautifying of park is progressing well.
Chief planning officer budgam Irfan Giri, Executive Engineer R&B division Budgam, Officials from the R&B Department, and other concerned departments accompanied the DC during the visit.
