The visit helped them understand the deep-rooted traditions and historical significance of Kupwara, a region known for its resilience and unity.

At AGS Wayne, the students were introduced to the Indian Army’s initiatives in improving educational infrastructure and empowering the youth of border areas. They interacted with students from Kupwara, who shared their perspectives about the region. They also witnessed the Army’s dedication to fostering education, skill development, and community welfare. The students were felicitated by the Commanding Officer of the 160 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), who was also the Chief Guest for the event.
