Baramulla: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, conducted an inspection of developmental projects in Nagbal, Seerjageer, and Ladoora to assess progress and ensure timely execution of works aimed at improving connectivity in the region.
During the visit, the DC reviewed the Ladoora-Nagbal Bridge, being constructed at a cost of ₹5.17 crore, and the Sopore-Seerjageer Bridge, with an estimated cost of ₹12.69 crore. These projects are important for enhancing road infrastructure and easing transportation for the local population.
DC directed the executing agencies to expedite the work while ensuring adherence to quality standards. He stressed the need for modern engineering techniques, proper safety measures, and minimal inconvenience to the public during execution. He also instructed officials to closely monitor progress and ensure completion within the stipulated timeframe.
DC was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore and Superintending Engineer R&B, along with other concerned officers.
