Jammu:- The Indian and Pakistan armies are set to hold a flag meeting at the Chakan Da Bagh LoC crossing in Poonch district today to discuss measures for reducing tensions amid recent border incidents.
Officials told news agency JKNS that senior officers from both sides will participate in the meeting, which follows multiple firing, sniping, and explosion incidents along the LoC in Rajouri, Poonch, and Jammu districts.
Recent border incidents include the February 14 sniper attack that injured an Indian Army soldier in the Keri area of Akhnoor, a February 10 bullet injury case in Nowshera sector, and a February 11 explosion near the LoC in Akhnoor that killed two soldiers, including an officer.—(JKNS)
