GDC Tangdar Faculty Condemns Harassment of Dr. Nishu, Demands Action

Tangdar: The faculty of Government Degree College (GDC) Tangdar has strongly condemned the alleged harassment of Dr. Nishu, a lecturer on Academic Arrangement in Environmental Science at GDC Mahanpur.

The faculty has accused the college principal, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, of misconduct, calling it a violation of professional ethics and legal boundaries. They stressed that no principal has the right to physically assault an employee, terming such actions unlawful and a criminal offense under BNS.

Urging strict action, the faculty has appealed to the Director of Colleges, J&K, and the Minister of Higher Education Department (HED) to intervene and ensure a safe and professional atmosphere in academic institutions.—(JKNS)
